Nasi & Alice’s winter wedding was incredible. There were so many special moments on the day that it became hard to choose what to edit in to their wedding film, too much great content is a fantastic problem to have though. Nasi’s family incorporated heaps of amazing Tongan culture into the day making it so special and unique. The partying went well into the night at Ilex in the Botanic Gardens, what a great venue, oh & we finally got to shoot in the newly refurbished Knox Church in the city (added bonus).

Sam & Jess’ wedding was set at the stunning Flaxmere Gardens in North Canterbury. If you’re familiar with the area, then you’ll know it can get quite hot there in the middle of Summer, and this day was no exception. The boys started their day off by shooting claybirds while the girls were getting ready in the nearby town of Hawarden. Flaxmere Gardens is an amazing place to have a wedding as there are so many ways it can be setup. Sam & Jess had their ceremony overlooking the pond with a giant Tipi on the other side all set for their reception. They were blessed with a beautiful warm evening, so naturally the first dance happened outside in front of the giant ‘LOVE’ sign. What an epic day! We loved being a part of it.

When Sonya & Jamie told us about their plans to elope to Lake Pukaki we started to get very excited. The couple from Ireland and Scotland have built a new life in the South Island of New Zealand. Jamie is a roofer working on the rebuild of Christchurch and Sonya pours her heart into anything from hairdressing to dogs! With their first baby on the way this year, the wedding day was a start of a very exciting new chapter for these newlyweds.”

They wanted to join their lives together in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, Lake Pukaki and we told them we’d be delighted to join in on the fun.

Brent & Nicole’s wedding day unfolded like a fairy tale. Set on the lawn of the beautiful Larnarch’s Castle in Dunedin, Nicole & Brent sealed their marriage with a kiss.
